BEHIND THE LENS
Country weddings have always felt familiar to me. The people, the places, the humour, the big celebrations and the quieter moments in between. There’s an honesty to them that I’ve always loved capturing.
After marrying my wife Katrina in 2019, I experienced firsthand just how meaningful a wedding film can become over time. Photos freeze a moment, but film brings memories back to life. The voices, the laughter, the nerves, and the little moments you don’t realise matter until years later.
For many years, Katrina and I filmed weddings together side by side. Since welcoming our daughter Delilah into the world, I now capture most weddings solo. While the dynamic has changed, the care and experience behind every film remains exactly the same.
Becoming a parent has made me value these memories even more. I understand how quickly life moves, and how important it is to hold onto the people, voices and moments that matter.
Every wedding I film is approached with that in mind. Natural, honest storytelling that feels true to the day and true to the people in it.
If that sounds like the kind of approach you’re looking for, I’d love to hear from you.
